This was a random Idea I got while during work owoLOVEShift-Chara! owo After Mettaton killed Frisk at the end of the Genocide, Asgore found Charas an Frisks dead bodys. He put Frisks one in the coffin, and takes the both souls, from Chara and Frisk, also Charas Body back to his lab. He dont wanted to put Charas Soul to the others and also dont wanted to lose his daughter after he lost already his wife and his son. So he changed Charas Body and put extra determination into it to let the soul wake up. Without knowing, Mettaton was already there.
