The tsundere comes in 2 sub types.
Type 1 acts rudely but is really a huge softie after you break through their shell, famous examples include Rainbow Dash, Rarity's cat, and possibly Limestone.
Type 2 are sweet and generous but just happen to have a hidden violent side, famous examples include Twilight Sparkle, Fluttershy, and Luna do to her isolation.
