If you know Metal Gear Solid, you know Psycho Mantis. He's an outstanding character, but doesn't come out in the game. So I found this photo in the Stock section and Mantis popped into my mind. So I had to make something of it. After one hour brainstorming I had this idea:Mantis is a master of psycho-kinetics, so in this image he seems to control your mind with his fingers and every finger has another ability of controlling his enemies, like your minds were attached to his fingers with invisible strings. I created this while listening to Aphex Twin. I think that's the reason why it looks the way it looks.
I think I'll work further on this piece, cuz' I have more even more ideas about it.

I like the reference of the strings attratched to his fingers and what not, and the inversion really brings startling contrast to the image. I actually cosplayed Psycho Mantis at AX [ Anime Expo ] for the past 2 years now, and that's what directed my attention to the pic. Well...that and because I absolutly adore Psycho Mantis X D. Nice work on this though, and great concept.

that sweet, i love this type of work, nice invert on the photo and the text works well on it. its all good stuff man. those eyes are trippy!

the typo on the picture are a bit too big and distracting, maybe try to resize them and use another font.

Very creative and groovy concept - I like the lettering and the slight red highlight, great work. I'm dying to know what else you will do with it? I think the font could be a touch larger - but that's my inexpert opinion.

God did I hate him in MGS. Having to plug your controller in the second port is super lame. Who the hell could figure that out!
