My internet wasn’t working so I loaded the random Pokemon generator and got a Delcatty. I spent a bit more time on this than I thought I would, but for a semi-quick work I think it turned out alright. Pokemon are so much fun to draw, because there are such a wide range to choose from and their designs are pretty interesting. I know a lot of people don’t like how they keep adding new ones on, and think that the new designs are rubbish, but I’ll shamelessly admit I love pretty much every single one of them and I am absolutely looking forward to Sun and Moon.

Really neat! I do agree with you on the new designs. I'm not THAT hot about them, but they arent terrible like everyone says. But I also havent fully played a pokemon game since Black and White, so I'm a bit rusty on the newer stuff. But I still really love this drawing and especially how you did the lighting and everything

I think, over time, the newer designs become more accepted. A new generation comes in, and suddenly the previous one becomes one of the 'old designs', and people start to like them in comparison to the new ones. To be honest, I haven't been actively playing the games all that much lately either. I keep meaning to get back to them, but there's always something else to do.

the new designs aren't any better or worse than the older ones! if they say garbodor is a waste of pokedex space, just show them voltorb and tell me if they can counter with anything :v
that aside, i really like how this came out. the colours are so smooth and vibrant at the same time, it looks like it's drawn on cotton :'D delcatty's also a pokemon i wish i could use more often, but it's such an absolute pain to find in emerald >.<
