The characters' faces really express their emotions and your treatment presents the myth as the comical drama it also is at some level...
Nice and fun piece of work !

Nice work, midnightgem. I teach Classics in Denmark and I will provide my students with a link to your comic strip. You just made teaching a little more fun for me.

Kind regards
Danny

What a bitch move on Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite's part. It's fucking Peleus and Thetis' party. They should have given it to Thetis. And then Eris would be so mad, lololol.

You have no idea how big my grin is right now. This... This is awesome. That last panel is the best.

The funny thing is, I read this story in my English class two days ago. You really summed up most of the story really well.

XD I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Paris is quite eager to get laid by the hottest chick on the planet.

LOL... that can't be a coincedence, now, can it?

tartancrusader In reply to midnightgem [2010-02-23 02:51:54 +0000 UTC]

...I choked on a cracker when I read the first half of your reply. XDDD

There's no such thing as coincedence...

He picks the stupidest one. After controlling the world or being a military wizard, I imagine he could get a hottie just as easily. And one that, you know, wasn't married already. Paris is such a weeny.

midnightgem In reply to remaai [2010-02-22 22:21:15 +0000 UTC]

Actually, the hottie was already married... which makes it even worse
unless you already knew that and I'm just bad at picking up sarcasm x_x

remaai In reply to midnightgem [2010-02-23 13:55:19 +0000 UTC]

Right, Helen was married. And to Menelaus! Really not a dude to mess with. I mean, would second most beautiful woman in the world really be that awful? He picks the one girl who has like a billion dudes who made an oath to protect her (as opposed to essentially world domination or guaranteed victory in battle).

Worst. Decision. Ever.

*gawks*

Your deserve an AWARD. This is HILARIOUS.
you comics make me smile and lol. c: freaking amazing.

And on the random side of things, the dude in the second panel getting thonked reminds me a LOT of Tracks... lmao. XD I don't know why.

Ahaha, thaaaanks! 8DD
Zeus doesn't want to admit that he finds his daughter more attractive than his wife.

Aaww, I'm glad, KJ. x3

... XDDDD LOL I totally didn't notice that! It's probably the hair and the fact that Tracks seems to get hit by flying objects quite a bit...
