Aderyn Quade, is an unfortunate wyngling. This wyngling came from a long line of quills, they claim their ancestry stretched back as far as the Veerde tribe. However, poor Aderyn was not a quill. The shock of a standard almost brought her parents to split however as a close family friend pointed out the wyngling was obviously the offspring of both parents, there just must have been a slight dip in magic so a standard wyngling was born instead of a quill. Wanting to avoid any mishaps with their reputation, Aderyn was cast out of the family as soon as she hatched. Her parents going as far as to smuggle her onto a wagon leaving for Wynsiph, with no orders other than to take her as far away from them as the wagon driver could. Luckily for poor little Aderyn, the wagon driver had a bit more compassion for the newborn then her parents and didn’t dump her on the streets or in the woods but instead took her to Alma to be raised in a loving and caring environment, he even left her with his tattered shawl that he had let her borrow during the ride to keep warm.
Though Aderyn grew up with no memory of her parents outcasting her, she doesn’t feel like she belongs at Wynsiph and dreams of exploring the world. She is quite and reserved around other wynglings, especially the loud ones, but is happy to cuddle up to someone and read with them.
