Conveniently, it started to rain. It started to rain as you ran home from Antonio's house. You had walked in to his house and saw him making out with another woman. You didn't know why he did it, but he said he loved you, and then you saw him like that, with that stupid girl in his arms. He looked up as you had walked in, and tried to explain, but you had already run away, tears forming in your (e/c) eyes.
You finally made it home, and there was a message on the answering machine. Hesitantly you pressed 'play', fearing it would be your boyfriend. Or, ex-boyfriend... You hated the thought, even though it was true. You listened to the message from Antonio.

A tear slipped from your cheek as you sat on the couch, listening to his heartfelt message to you. You knew deep down that you still loved him. You knew you wanted to forgive him, but you didn't know if you could.

That was it. He still loved you. You bit your lower lip as you remembered the days you had spent together. You still loved the Spanish man. You should go talk to him. But you couldn't. Something in your heart told you it was over.
Your heart cracked, and broke into a million pieces. You knew it was over. You remember your friends telling you never to date someone if they cheat on you. Maybe it was meant to be. Maybe I should just forget about him.
You then pulled a pillow up to your chest and sobbed.

Toni's message was still playing. It was long and poetic, and you felt it had meaning. Your emotions were conflicted as the message concluded.

By this point you were completely broken. You sobbed and yelled and released a river of emotion. You've never experienced a pain this bad before. You felt like you were being torn into 47.5 different pieces.
But then, a soft voice spoke to you, with a sweet, thick Spanish accent. "(F/n)?"
You looked up from your emo pillow that was now smeared with your mascara. "T-Toni..."
"I never got to finish my message for you." He sat down next to you and whispered softly in your ear.

And indeed, you remembered that cold December night. The two of you stood in a gazebo, your breath billowing in front of your faces, forming little clouds of ice. The taller man looked down at you, his emerald eyes gleaming in the moonlight. You remembered him telling you with a voice like honey, "I will always love you, (f/n). I swear my feelings will never sway from how I fell now. No matter what happens."
You had looked into his beautiful eyes and responded, "As do I. I will never leave you, Toni. I promise. I love you."
The Spaniard woke you from your flashback. "...Chica? Lo siento, por favor puede olvidar todo este? Te amo por siempre, y nunca va a creer otro [1]"
