One day, in May, it suddenly happened...
I am really glad I did this, it's very curious that I found inspiration in a TV Show that's meant for girls... Fluttershy was a character that drove my curiosity a lot and at the same time managed to pull some inspiration out. It's curious. I'm still trying to understand myself but I guess it's not that complicated.
Anyways, with how I painted this I tried a different technique, I think it came out quite well. It took some time but it was worth it. I'm off to finals then... damn finals.

Well, bigger is generally better. I sort of just assumed 1500x1070 was the original canvas size you used, so any larger would have to be scaled, but if you do have a larger version you'd be willing to share, that would be nice.

Although, just in general, I bet people wouldn't complain if you provided your full-size originals. Even if 3300 and such is bigger than necessary for any normal purpose, it can be interesting to be able to really zoom in and see the smaller details. I know a picture has to be like 5000-6000 pixels wide before I start to consider it too big.

I have to say that while looking through Drafriend today, I am so glad that I came across your magnificent artwork! This piece and all of your aother are done so incredibly well! I love the captivating color work and the contrast of colors works so well that it gives depth to the piece that I have never seen before! The character design is very original and adds so much glorious life to the piece! The environmental work is accented beautifully with pristine shades and deep lighting! I really love the way that you are able to tie the character and the envioronment together and how you personalize each piece to suit each pony! This picture has a lovely ambience to it, reflecting that of the Autumnal evening which it depicts. The main reason for this I believe is the extraordinary blending technique you employed, how did you do this?

That's funny, I hadn't planned for it to be an autumn scene. XD But I guess it does give the look away.
Umm, I mostly paint with an "airbrush", it helps blend colors really nicely.
