This is just a quick chart I made, to help with drawing weird angles of heads. I'm not sure if it'll be entirely useful, but I figured I'd put it up anyway.
Blue indicates base lines
Indicates *typical* shadingFeel free to print it out and draw on it for practice, if you'd like, or download it into photoshop and practice on top of it, I really don't care. As long as you don't post this anywhere else, we're all in good shape.

Being self-taught is nothing to be ashamed of. In fact, most of the artist here are self taught! Not everyone can afford to go to Art School. But, just because they can't go doesn't mean that they can't learn.
There's absolutely nothing an Art School can teach you that you can't learn on your own. It will take longer, and you have to be extra dedicated, but it is possible. I taught myself everything I needed to know to draw - and now I mentor a few people here on dA to help them learn!
Just keep practicing and never, ever give up!

this tutorial is lovely ^^ but i was wondering..can you by any chance do a tutorial on bodies? or at least the arms and legs anyway? :33 it's okay if you can't! it's just i have a lot of trouble with bodies (mainly from side glance and from the back)
