Description
More experimentation.Again I'm not really sure this is the right category. It's an actual photo that I took in BC last year, and I consider it more a photomanipulation than a factal. I guess it goes here

British Columbia looks like deep jungle, the way you've treated it. I don't know much about layer blendinds and curves... Photoshop is still a closed book to me, in spite of all the tuts I have - But this looks like a suspended bridge in a VERY exotic jungle, whith an 'Indiana Jones' feel to it... What is this webby greenery all over the place? What is awaiting him at the end of that endless bridge? And is it really a bridge, or yet another part of this shiny web? Should he dare cross it, or is it a sticky trap, that will leave him a helpless victim to some arachnid monster? The adrenalin level is beginning to rise, but yet the bridge must be crossed...What trick will our archeologist find, to spring the trap, and defeat the monster?
Fantastic photo treatment. Haven't seen the like yet. Shouldn't 'Mixed Media' be the adequate category?

Dude!! Wicked cool! Man, I would love to have a custom paint job like this... If I had a car and knew how to drive, of course.

And it does lead somewhere amazing. There are actually walkways through the tree tops, with balconies and benches where you can sit and just look down on the forest.
Thanks for the fav sweetie!

Thanks! Actually it's a filter that basically finds the geometric lines in the image and accentuates them. Then, the usual layers blending levels and curves
BTW....very cool website!

I'm hoping to play with HDR myself in another month or so. I have my eye on a new Digital SLR and I'm getting pretty anxious!

The Canons seem to be pretty popular cameras. I have my heart set on the Nikon D80. Hoping to have it by the end of June

If I could have afforded a Nikon, I'd definitely have gone with one. I love the image quality they're capable of capturing... not to mention some of the infrared images they can capture...
When I bought my 350D, I was like, "Eh, its not like I do much photography anyway... I'm always too lazy to leave the apartment on the weekends and after I get off work...." Now that I have it, thats basically how I spend any free time I've got... LOL... oh well...

I did a lot of comparisons trying to decide what I wanted. I was looking at the Cannon Rebel series too. The Nikons have a lot more features that I like, and I figure if I'm going to spend money, I might as well get what I want. I have a Sony Cybershot that I got Xmas before last and in the first 9 months I'd taken close to 4000 pics, so it's not like I'm not going to get use out of it. I spent 3 weeks in BC last year....AMAZING scenery, a lot of which I posted to my stock account. I wish I'd had a better camera when I went

I think this category is fine, since the fractals dominate the image. It's hard to tell it's a photograph and not just more colorful intertwining lines. I really love these.

Thanks for the favs!
