So...I made this a few weeks ago, but got to posting others instead.

As always, my knowledge of kanji's fairly minimal. I have to rely on the web alot for stuff. If this is wrong in any way, please let me know.

This is 'fuurin kazan', or: “As swift as the wind. As silent as the forest. As fierce as the fire. As unmovable as the mountain.” Which of course is the show Gackt did for NHK in 2007. I think he truly belongs in that era; he certainly has the mindset and nobleness of a samurai. I love this time period in Japanese history. I'm always reading books and things on it, and I hope to see a lot of historical sites when I go there next spring.

Funnily enough, a few months ago I was at a Japanese festival and I bought a shirt with this on it. The lady asked me if I knew the significance of what it said. I told her I did. However, since it was the only somewhat Gackt-related thing I found that day, that was my true purpose. But I did understand the saying, too. And yes, I know this came from Takeda Shingen, who was the main rival of Uesugi Kenshin, the 'Dragon of Echigo' whom Gackt portrayed in the series. My points of reference are kind of mixed on here. Sorry for that.
