*Spoilers for Wings of Fire Legends: Darkstalker*

"No," Foeslayer said, touching the earring again. "Why did you do this- for me?" She wrinkled her snout, half teasing, half serious. "Aren't you worried about your soul?"
"Not anymore," he said. "It's yours now...if you wan't it."
Glittering petals of snow fell softly onto her black wings, melting into her heat. Foeslayer hesitated, then reached out and took one of Arctic's talons in hers.
This is a bad idea, whispered Arctic's conscience. The very worst. Neither of our tribes would forgive us. Mother would never allow it.
All the more reason. I won't let the queen crush my entire life between her claws.
It's my life, my magic, and my heart.
"I'm going to say something really sappy," Foeslayer warned him.
"More sappy than what I just said?" he asked. "I'd like to see you try."
"I just- I have this strange feeling," Foeslayer said, looking into his eyes, "that the entire world is about to change forever."

Dun dun DUN Cliche title is cliche!
Can I just, like, express my immense love for these books? I LOVE THEM. For those who don't know, this scene happens in one of the books in the Wings of Fire series. Or more specifically, in the special edition called WoF Legends: Darkstalker. I recently got my hands on the book, and I love it! So I decided to draw a few of my favorite scenes from the book (which also gives me an excuse to practice draw dragons, so win win)! This particular scene features Foeslayer and Prince Arctic and how they met, and started the massive Darkstalker apocalypse. It melted my heart, these two are so cuuuuutttteeee So expect more Wings of Fire dragons from me soon! <333
