This man is deep and makes me of a character who is suffering and barely managed to escape some nasty situation. His eyes hold me the most. They appear to know more than what he allows everyone to believe. He is a tough guy with at least a hint of darkness if not completely dark. He reminds me of guys I have pictured in many of the fantasy fiction novels I have read. The shading along with the coloring gives this picture great life!

dont be shy to explain yourself because sometimes you try to indicate something, like the fire and we might not see it but if you explain it seems obvious.
giving me a view of your side helps me tell you what you could do better so, its a win-win XD.

I only have a few advises for you. I think the picture is very nice alll in and, and maybe thats your kind of style, but i woulld suggest if you have outlines to: 1. either color then neatly (in the lines) or 2. if you dont like to work that detailed, earase unnessesary outlines afterwards. Secondly. Im not sure what color his hair is supposed to be, but i guess its supposed to be black. if so, then the hair you see falling on his back is orange and thats too light. even if the light is comeing from behind his head and shining through, his hair would be with alot of light: white, or with less some kind of grey but definately not orange. also, the hair next to his arm is red, and its the same thing, black hair doesent go any other color unless its supposed to be multiple colors or like a black with a red tone, which is very rare. and unless the hair is compleately soaked in blood, it doesent turn red and considering that the shade of the arm or what i think is the shade of the arm (it doesent look like blood) is the same red, i dont think its supposed to be soaked in blood. if it really was supposed to be full of blood, i apologise. but then you'd hav to make it clear that its drenched in blood by, for example, letting it drip or something.
the cuts and blood look very good. but about the lighting, theres another problem. your light has multiple different colors whatever it hits and that doesent happen. either it is orange (like in a sunset) or blue (rarely on a cloudy day) or white/light-light-light-yellow (on a really bright day) so you gotta choose, which color does my light have, what kind or weather is in my picture and is it late or early.
The background is simple and only indicates where he is, which gives the spectator the freedom to exactly picture it and make out the details, which simulatest his fantasy. only advice her is wif you draw "background" that goes infront of your charakter, like sertain plants do in this picture, use a extra layer and place it ontop of everything or at least the outlines. this lets it look more natrual.
As for the charakter, he is a very handsome boy/man with and nicely build body which you brought out best with the muscules.
Just let me say one more thing: Nuooo don't hurt him! X3

well about the brown, then you should have made it like a light brown, not orange or red.
If theres a forest fire then you have to clarify that somehow, like show something burning in the background, because if there is a fire and the light reflects on his skin, then he has to stand near enough to it for us to be able to see it, except its a giant fire far away, but then again i would indicate a fire in the background. in a fire th light gives an orange shine so since the natural light is blue, loose the white and yellow.
in case you forget things, it would be a good idea to show the pic to someone else before you post it becaus ethey will surely notice, or just examine your own pic yourself before you post it. something similar happend to me in the pic "wind" where i added a poem and noticed later on, that theres a word missing (i think it was a "the") anyways im too lazy to change it now... XD
