Great shot!
Pictures like these are so hard to shoot...
the purple makes it look more vivid and alive

I'll feature this on my journal

I like this one very much, I always loved to look at lightning, and the color is so strong here, it is a pleasant piece to look at, welcome to my favorites.

Ya, definitely shouldn't be under photomanipulation. I don't know if this is digital or not, but if you print actual negatives, you manually have to correct the color using Cyan, Magenta and Yellow. This kind of photo could easily be achieved by doing it manually. Basically what I am saying is, most of the best known photographs aren't in their original colors.

I think it worked out very well, because it shows off the power of the lightning bolt much better.

The only thing is, I think that because of how much you altered its colors, it ought to be filed under photomanip. But anyway, I think it's great work!

the photomanip section said more than changing colors.. and thats all i did was change colors.. so i just put it under here..

thanks again for your comments.. your faithfulness is waaaaaaay appreciated!

Ohhh, OK. My bad! I very rarely ever do photomanips, so what would I know?
