An entry I did for a Portal-themed contest over at sciencebyaperture.com! Had to crank this sucker out in 3 days flat. But I was able to win a combustible lemon plush so it was worth the trouble~ |'D
(It's supposed to be a pre-mantis-men scene, but I drew the 1970's era Cave Johnson because it's more recognizable than his 1950's look. :T Plus the only art we have of Caroline is her 1970's design, and I didn't want to try creating a 1950's look for her from scratch with that 3-day-deadline pressure... |D )

Yeah Portal is video game by Valve; it and its sequel Portal 2 are by far the BEST video games I have ever played in my entire life. :'> They're just so flawless in every aspect- writing, storyline, humor, concept...... Basically the games are a truly remarkable experience and you should DEFINITELY give it a try if you do get the chance someday. :'D

Speaking of games, I played a DS game called Time Hollow just recently. I got hopelessly obsessed with it. ._.; It was a great game, but incredibly short (nearly the whole fandom wants an anime of it XD) - the characters were actually pretty well made for such a small game. My favorite character was this guy. XD A bad-tempered, 35-year-old freelance writer and the main character's uncle. (I freakin' loved his attitude. When the main character asked him "Oh, you're already home?", his uncle went "Yeah, so? What's it to you? :l". Sounds sort of like Skuld or a really irked Thor, if you ask me...)
Btw, if you like scifi games, DarkStar One is worth a try. 8D

*scratches head* Well, damn. ...I think the game works on Linux, though. IIRC you can use Linux on any computer by booting it from a disk?
Oooh, right. Nearly forgot. There are dozens of scifi RPG Maker games, and over 80% of them are free to play and work on ANY operating system. 8D "GΓΆtterdΓ€mmerung" (post-apocalyptic) and "Outlaw City" are my favorites.
