Description
Finished this using my own pattern. Derpy's done in continental tent stitches, while the background is diagonal mosaic stitches (which took more than 8 skeins). I don't really like how similar the background and her hair outline colors are nor her coat and cutiemark colors, but oh well.It measures 8"x10" on 14 count plastic canvas. I used all six strands of embroidery floss for the stitches.

Well, I didn't really make a pattern. I made the image in photoshop and then took a day to pick the colors. I just threw the image into a program that spits out a pattern as a PDF. So, if you send me a note with an email address, I can send you the image and pattern PDF if you want.

I started it near the end of this spring semester, so I had to space it out over a few days around school. Total stitching time was probably about 8-10 hours. That background took a while. ^_^
