Alternate title: How Not To Use Gradient Meshes
This will be the first of a few pictures I want to try to vector using gradient meshes and some newer things I've learned about Illustrator. Specifically, I want to learn to recreate hair texture in ways I like.
This kinda came out looking like I put the original picture through a crappy filter, and Vinyl kinda looks like she's made of liquid metal here. :
