pretty cool, dark phoenix has always been one of the sickest female characters in the Marvel Universe. Nice job with the portrayal of the character, really like the figure and the subtle use of the wings. A couple of things that I would suggest for this piece to make it a bit better, the red to me that is covering the yellow phoenix is unneccesary because it is covering some details and it looks a tiny bit messy, try to figure out how to incorporate the red in a better way. That is about it, other than that, it is a pretty cool piece, keep up the good work man. oh yeah forgot to ask did you get into animation this year? Please give me a holler. Peace out. From Darren.

-i totally agree! I have an editting problem... lol I get to a point where I get completely blind and don't notice that stuff! and just want to stop working on it lol!
but ya that large streak of red looks really offf lol.
i'm gunna work on my editing next time!
and as for animation, I didn't get in lol!! that's my 3rd time being rejected haha. sheridan doesn't like me

Yeah, you are very welcome man, anything I can do to help. Just next time, work on it because you can only get better right, and I really think if you just keep on practicing from now until the time you apply for the program. You will get into the program that you so desire next year because I believe you are ready for this program for you have the determination to make it. I am sad that you did not get in because I saw your stuff recently and you should have gotten in this year but only thing you can do is try again next year and just see. I wish you the best man. the portfolio (i worked on for months) i handed in this year scored LOWER than the portfolio i made in 2 days.

yeah man, that is funny man, it is different marking everytime, do not know what they want but all you got to do is work harder for the next portfolio and hopefully you get in because it is hard to know what the judges are looking for it is a very competitive program. You always have to make sure your portfolio is stronger than your competitors portfolio. Just keep that in mind.
