I spent a week in mid-July'08 shooting in North-Eastern Thailand as a part of an international group of photographers.
We were invited by the Thailand Tourist Authority to gather photo coverage of the Isaan-area. Our photos will be used for upcoming marketing and PR campaigns worldwide to promote the area, which is currently rather unknown for many travelers.
The photographers were selected from two dozen european countries via local photo competitions, and I won the competition in Finland (co-organized by the local travel magazine Mondo).

If I remember place names correctly this is from Amphoe Non Sung in Nakhon Ratchasima province. We stayed overnight near these fields in Ban Prasat homestay village.
