I usually don't like Klimt's graphic cues, they're often misused and don't have all that much impact even in his own works, but here it looks really efficient; I guess it's because of the dynamic angle and of the choice of colors. And the "angsty teenager" aspect that is so often associated with it is fully assumed, so, we can finally focus on the style itself seriously without having that bitter afterthought of "the artist is just a kid that takes himself too seriously" spoiling the pleasure. I usually find the use of irony and sarcasm repulsive in art, but I guess it's a necessary, and fully justified decision here.
Really it's subtle and elegant. The background that enhances the perspective, the texture effects, the composition of contrasts and masses in the picture. But of course it's the use of color that really sells it, it complements and intensifies the graphic work without distracting us from it. There's a wonderful economy of means in this picture that makes it very efficient and fascinates the eye without relying on ostentatious, clumsy bullshit.
