Excuse me while I continue to cry after the ending of this masterpiece ;____;A sequel to this when the game was first announced: fav.me/d8vir4e
Instead of picking my usual Mudkip partner (always named Saphir), I decided to go with a Riolu named Rubis and I DON'T REGRET MY CHOICE AT ALL (thanks Rei for the advice !)
Now I just need to go through the epilogue... *cries a river of feels*

I don't have a nice relationship with the Mystery Dungeon series.
I played the first one and I thought it was ok, but since I don't enjoy Roguelike that much I ended hacking it lol.
...And I never touched other game. I know that the sequel is good, Gates to Infinity is the worst of the series and I didn't hear a lot of Super Mystery Dungeon, probably because I don't care that much.
And about getting emotional... Actually unlike many people I don't get emotional or cry for video games. (Or in general basically)
Only 3 things make me get heavy feels:
-Closing theme from Half Life (I get very sad because it's the ending theme of one of the best video games ever made)
-Every OST of games that I played as a kid (Nostalgia overload, specially Sonic, Mario or Crash)
-The last day in Persona 3 (A mix of feelings; an incredibly way to end one of my favourite games ever)

Well, I loved the first game and went on with all the other games (yes Gates to Infinity is really the worst of the serie, I don't recommand it at all xD)
Oh I got emotional (I didn't actually cry if you're wondering ahahah), it's just that I really adore Pokemon in general and you're really involved in the game and the mechanics. But I understand what you mean ;3
Aaaah the songs of my childhood.... Well the first PMD is part of that childhood so the soundtrack gets me everytime xD and games like Secret of Mana

wouldn't recommend at all as a first PMD game, or as a PMD game to "retry" to like the serie
It had some good part, but really the plot was too predictable and the gameplay too easy =/ (only "surprising" part is who is the final boss)
of course the parting is moving but the end was just a big mess ???? I mean, even PSMD gives you a chance/hope here you just have... well it's really a "bittercold" ending. The soundtracks are good like all PMD games. But I have to say, except maybe this soundtrack and the final boss soundtrack, I don't remember them
