Valens is a very ambitious Pouflon. He wants to be a holy knight after completing the full knighthood road. To avoid all the remarks people might tell him because of his unicorn horn, he has created a whole personality to “hide” himself. He will appear as someone very proud and sure of himself. Valens is kind of a troublemaker "outside" of his duties, even during them he will somehow always find a way to try to get more interesting quests (like sometimes he will let a thief go if he finds some interest in letting him go away). He has a very "merchant" way to think, he doesn't do something for nothing (it can be for its rank or for some informations for example)

A little story: Valens comes from a high class family and, as such, always had very high ambitions. He is particularly passionate about the whole circle of death and life of Pouflons, as he sees it as the “adventure of their life”. His parents had some business in Citremery, the maritime roads had no secrets for them. The young Pouflon really loved the merchant work his parents were able to do. However, seeing all those ships gave him a spirit of adventure rather than a merchant one.

He told his parents about his will to be a knight. They accepted the idea quite easily and even helped Valens to settle in Roseacre, where they had a second residence (in business you need to be not so far from the royals). The young Pouflon, who had grown between the protective walls of his parents house, discovered he was not so… Normal ? He first thought it was because of his manners, he was very polite and loved to wear all kind of things. Unfortunately, it was because of his unicorn horn, it took him months to understand and it kind of broke him a little. Plus, his parents had left him alone and he wasn’t that prepared for this separation either. Valens decided to change “for the better” and enrolled himself into knighthood as soon as possible to forget all the other things that affected him.

Right now, he is a very dedicated knight.

BONUS: he is very proud of his unicorn horn and his pinkish fur, he even makes fun of himself quite a lot......... dork.........

Persik
They make a dynamic duo. Valens really enjoys Persik company, meeting a knight and a PINK one still makes him smile a lot. By seeing Persik's first reaction about the whole pink coat, he understood that it's a "no go jokes zone". Valens doesn't miss a chance to make a joke in little missions. The Pouflon enjoys the sense of justice Persik has, it would find it admiring and sometimes annoying but he would learn to live with it, even joking about it if he can.
He loves to discuss knight duties and his dreams with Persik, as he feels, the knight understands his ambitions of becoming a holy knight. Sometimes, he even asks Persik to do some adventures with him after they are finished with their knight duties.
