“What’s going to happen to me here? You know where we are. This is practically an area for only beginning trainers. Most pokemon of any decent skill would have grown bored from how little threat anything there is here and moved on. And do you honestly think there will be other trainers here at this time of year in the middle of the night?”

“How am I supposed to know? You never told me where we were going. Just packed me up and took off. And then when you stopped moving for a while I stepped out of my ball to make sure you were okay and you were nowhere to be found. Do you know how worried you had made me?”

“You worry too much. I’d be back around by morning anyway. So you might have well just gone to sleep.”

“I can’t protect you while I’m asleep.”

“Has it ever occurred to you I don’t want your protection?”

“And if something did happen to you? What then?”

“There aren’t any trainers around, I made sure to avoid any sign of any of them. And if I did hear one I’d just avoid them. And if I did get form locked otherwise, I would have still swung around by the end of the night to release you.”
