“And I don’t want your help. You are hereby relieved of any sense of obligation you feel you need to do. You owe me nothing. And I want nothing from you! Go away.”

“But-“ he begins.

“But nothing! I don’t want you here. Go bug someone else for the night.” She says before throwing the towel at him.

He’s somewhat surprised by the act and doesn’t really do much more than move to catch it. It’s not like the thing could do anything to him. But Michael can use the momentary distraction and the fact it frees up her front limbs to put some distance between them. Ryan could never learn quick attack so there was no threat to him being able to block her off. And it is an excuse to get rid of the towel early. He can carry it the rest of the night if he so chooses or just return it. Either way is good enough for her. She makes sure she has gotten fully out of view before stopping the dash and taking a moment to catch her breath before continuing on.
