"robot heroes" are the best! there's just something about seeing cutesy robots with guns that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.i was trying to kill some time at work a few days ago, so i decided to do a little sketch of shrapnel. i normally don't draw robots too often, as i'm much too lazy to do perspective, but the "robot heroes" look seemed to fit my style. i had a ton of fun drawing this. the insecticons are my favorite transformers subgroup, so keep an eye out for a "robot heroes"-style kickback and bombshell

That's awsome. Those things remind me of the old classic Mega Man robot masters. I'd leave 80 comments just cause you're drawing again...but I won't, because I'm on dial-up and that's just not possible right now, lol!

you're absolutely right. they do have sort of a megaman quality to the designs. in fact, when i was sketching out the basic shape of his body, i kept thinking, "this looks like mega man!"
