I said I'd do something about that RP. I'm not entirely happy with this one, but at least it looks funny. xDDD In this episode, Erin's being choked to death by both Hickory's face glomp and Speck's oblivious hug and in the meantime, Ty flails and stutters aimlessly as a Gyarados looms over them. Poor thing, no one listens to him. 8CSo basically this was my only RP in the chats. I almost never go there because I always end up having something that makes me leave in the middle of it - and guess what?... THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED. This was actually the last scene before I left. ;_;
Speck, Erin, Hickory and Ty went on an adventure and between Clamperls clamping Speck's feet/hand, angry Gyarados and a lot of shenaniganery, it was a fun RP. xDDD I only wish I could do more... 8(

What I usually do is search for a character that no one else has - you can start checking which Pokemon haven't been taken yet in the resident list in the front page. Then, start thinking of a unique personality for him/her! xD
I'll give you further helpif you need to.

What Pokemon then? Species is sometimes an important factor when thinking of an history. 8P

Minun, Purrloin, Smeargle, Glaceon, Sandslash, Dewott, Ivysaur, Haunter are the main ones.... in no real order.

You can pretty much scratch Glaceon, cuz those are common as Hell. Dewott's the same thing, and so is Purrloins. There's already a couple of Smeargles arround too, but I guess a Smergle would still be kinda cool. Minun would also be an option considering you love Minuns and draw them very well, but meh, I dunno, I can't think of a good history for one. xD
However Sandslash, Ivysaur and Haunter can possibly turn out to become pretty interesting characters if we put our effort into them! (and so are the others really, it'll just be harder x) )

Right now I might take Ivysaur off too since I don't really know how I could make an anthro-ish version of it
Haunter, Sandslash and Minun are staying on the list though

Ivysaur's pretty easy to do, but if you don't feel confortable yeah, you better stick with those 3 so far.

Well the reason I'd have a hard time with Ivysaur is because of the mini-tree on it's back

It's not actually that difficult, but like I said to you, it's best if you feel confortable drawing something, and if you don't feel confortable drawing an Ivysaur, then yeah, better discard it.
