Description
A capture of the edge of an old metal chimney, used for burning peat from the early 1900s. Peat harvesting in Denmark thrived around this time, but partly because of the second world war and the dwindling demand for the material in general, by the early 1970s, the industry was dead and buried. There are some abandoned equipment remains of in a good condition like this one you can still find today, but most of it is either gone from age or badly eroded.
