A european hoverfly looking for nectar in a dangling flower. The title is actually this species' latin name translated literally. I chuckled when I found out. Other than the slightly unfocused right wing and perhaps the angle, this capture might just be up there with the beautiful demosielle and the peacock butterfly ! What do you think?Related content
