Give it some time, you'll be making hair like this.
I'm glad it helped, I'll make a better one later with words, maybe a speed paint or something.

:3 The monicle at the end made me do a derp and giggle face. It's a cute tut, specially since it took me FOREVER to relize that if you draw the movement of the hair in chucks it makes it easier to edit.

Aw, that you, hun. I'm glad you liked it.
I changed up the way I do hair, I don't even really add low lights that's pretty mush what the base color is for. (for me atleast)

Yeah I don't do my hair that way either. I add base layer movement layer on a multiplyed layer and then do each strand with a round air brush at 85 percent at a two pixel rate with color pallets. @~@ Eventually your face looks like that after about 15 min of staring at strands. LOL. But I, for one, was a retard for the longest and didn't chunk up hair into sections and one day it clicked and I sorta went .O.!! So your tut comes in handy. Specially for people like me. A little slow on the up take. LOL Chunking and hair movement good. No chunking and sorta trying to trying to free hand it... bad.
