It's October here in Aussieworld so that means tons of people get obsessed with spooky stuff. I'm too lazy for that but not lazy enough to use it as a reason to post weird freaks like Monster Ray here. So keep your eyes peeled for these coloured pencil drawings! They come with a little blurb about each monster I have designed thus far based on a character from a different IP. Enjoy!

Title: Monster of Self Destruction

Basic info: The Monster of Self Destruction, its form is bulky with a head plate adorned with two sets of spikes. Possessing a no-nonsense attitude, it craves battle and those willing to face it head on with their fists and win will earn its respect. It hates people who refuse to fight for good as much as it hates being bossed around by people that didn’t earn its respect. In battle it is cocky and prideful, enjoying seeing even its worst enemies bring their A Game. Sometimes it even wears a pair of sunglasses just to look cool while boasting. When in battle with said monster, one needs to be careful, getting in its way may cause it to lash out. It fights until it can’t stand no more and tends to more often than not limp back to a safe haven until its host can take over and rest, refusing medical aid and chasing away help. When not in battle it has an aloof demeanor, keeping its distance from people and generally being uninterested in doing anything non combative except one other thing. Ironically that being caring for sick and wounded, going above and beyond to help those in extreme peril. Calling upon nature to help heal and refusing to leave the person’s side if they are too weak to fight. The monster’s finisher is a high-powered laser beam, fired from a giant eye embedded in the very top of the monster’s tail. It is said to be so strong it can one shot a Brumack.
