Description I took a piece of white cardstock and put a deep yellow watercolor wash with some salt for this one. then I put it in the copy machine and printed the linework for the drawing on it and painted it. I felt clever.


there is some glitter on it. but you can't tell. scanners don't appreciate glitter very much.

Fullview. I like snails.

(watercolor, salt, gouache, acrylic, ink pen, sharpie, on cardstock)

Hehe snails rock . I like how the eye on his head is somewhat empty and yet the snail has an eye and there's an eye hanging from his other wrist.

Heh, I used to have a character called Helix Aspersa. He was a spacefaring entomologist (despite snails not being insects... well, logic didn't really come into it.)

I too love snails, and this picture.

I like snails, too!

Man, I can always tell you have such fun with your art. You never seem afraid to try new things for the stupid fear of messing up that plagues so many of the rest of us. I love all of the textures in this, with the salt and the ink/paint spatters on the right, and the blue guy's dotty outline. I kinda wish you'd do a mural on my wall.

His left hand is drawn really well and the colors are gorgeous. Just looking at the background makes me taste oranges!
