Hehe~Not a Hetalia fan-art this time~
Heavily inspired from re-reading the series and Obata Takeshi’s works. *_*
I tried to capture one of those tense moments where Light and L’s hair and eyes gleam red and blue.
Aaaaand I realize how many fans dislike Light Yagami.
Aww~ he is such an awesome character! Although I do like L slightly more than Light.Light is still so badass.
-sigh- can’t we accept them both?
BTW: I understand that L's fingers look extremly awkward lol.
well I suck at hands.

I totally agree. If I got the Death Note, there is a 98% chance that I'd end up just like Light. So really, I don't blame him for going totally wacko.
I also love L to the point of obsession, but since I still loved Light too, it was hard to hate him after he killed L. Even though I was very unhappy.

Exactly my thinking. .__. Near only caught Kira because Mikami and Light messed up, he was in no way superior to L. Light and L were obviously the best characters of the series.

The hands would actually be pretty well done! The only thing is (and it's super easy to fix if you want!) that L's fingers have one too many joints. The fingers consist of only 3 joints, but you have 4.

Umm. Dunno why people hate Light. x] He IS consumed by the evil- *SPOILER** when he forgets about the death note; he is REALLY ernest about helping L catch Kira. Then when he remembers, he gets all Maniacal. I'm not gonna lie- I think I'm a bigger Light fan than L. But really? It's hard as hell to choose. x]

I love Light Yagami ;u; Fans only like L for being so out there most of the time, and hate Light Yagami because he tried to change the world for the better by getting rid of those in his way. (Light fan here)
But over time he did get wrapped up in becoming God.

This picture is very pleasing to the eye, with the way L and Light are set up. Even at first it's astonishing, but it becomes phenomenal when you look at the background, which contains the pages of the Death Note on one side and chains on the other. Very well done, I could look at it for hours.

Light was my fave character hands down. I found myself both cheering for him and hoping he was caught! I thought he was terribly brilliant and if he hadn't gotten out of control (which I figure happens easily when you play God) he would have been worthy of credit on some level for being that boogie man ideal that helps people keep their wayward evils tucked safely inside.
