Another base.This one is actually MS-Paint friendly. So yay. This one costs more than the last one because it has more than one character.
You CAN:-Use for character sheets.
-Use for adoptables etc.
-Add scars, wings, manes, and take limbs off etc.
-Use the base more than once.
You CAN'T:-Remove my signature!
-Repost this lineart ANYWHERE.

Do you have any tips on drawing lions like that? I'm really bad at drawing lions and I really want some tips.

The basic tip is to just practice and never stop. :T Look at references of real lions and stylized ones and work out whats the best way for you to draw something. It won't happen overnight, it might not happen in a year, but that's just how it works. That's really all I can tell you.

But either way this would work in PS and Sai. You might just need to fiddle with the paint bucket tool and a pencil, rather than a brush tho. c:

I'd rather hold on to the faintest slither of hope that there are some decent people out in the world who might feel a bit of guilt for stealing.
But I removed the download option. As far as I know it's still a JPEG rather than a PNG tho. And the quality was lowered so even if someone was cheap enough to try altering the image they might find they have to trace the whole thing to get the base to work properly.
I would hardly call it worth the effort.

The values translates to £1.26.
Since it's 160 points and not the usual 100. The 100 points ones translate to roughly 60p, aha.
And sorry, the 'p' sometimes get's used for points (most commonly on dA obviously) so I thought you were one of /those/ people for a moment. I'm half asleep right now, so if I poof it's 'cause I fell back asleep. =v=

"Just a base" that I created from scratch, no tracing involved. In fact I discourage tracing, specially from screenshots from movies and/or other peoples' work. All original art.
If you think it's "too expensive" I honestly could not care less. Don't waste my time, and yours, complaining about it.

I know. I wouldn't either. I just wanted to make a point. Anyway, I don't think many bases are traced. Most ARE just from scratch and, btw, if it wasn't, even if it was traced, no one should sell it, and just a base, I meant it's to use, not to buy and keep.

Then you really are wasting time. There is no point to make, at least not a valid one.
And if you think that then you don't do much research. Type in "base" in the search and you get oceans of traced anime screenshots or anime-style art. "lion bases" you get The Lion King as far as the eye can see. "wolf bases" are mostly Wolfs Rain, Balto or BBA.
Yes, there are original bases, but they are few and far between. But hey, I agree with you on one thing. Traced bases etc should never be sold. Why? It's theft.
Some artists might be cool with making free lineart, I'm not one of those artists.
"If you're good at something, never do it for free" is pretty much my motto as far as art goes. I don't have the time or the energy to do things for free anymore.
Don't tell me what I can or cannot do with my art, kid, because it's hardly any of your business. Artists who make it their career deserve to be paid for the art they create, but I don't think you're at the point in time where you can truly understand the importance of making money.

You claim that and yet complain about my base being P2U. Trying to 'make a point' you're forcing your ideals on me, with which I do not agree.
What's the difference between the two bases you mentioned? Because I see none.
Most people charge 100 points for P2U bases, that became more or less the default, which translates to $1, as I mentioned before. Being in the UK automatically means I make almost half of what the US sellers make, which sucks, so I sometimes charge a bit more.
And lastly, if you weren't trying to be rude then you really need to express that more clearly in the future. People can't see your face or hear the tone of your voice on the internet, so when you're being awfully blunt like that, you come off as rude.

Well excuse ME, but I am NOT complaining about it being P2U and I'm sorry if I have ONLY seen ones that are like 50 points. Here in Canada, though, a dollar from the US costs more. And I AM sorry about that. True, you can't hear the tone of someone's voice, but if I said I was forcing you to do that, and not making a point, I'd be saying "Put the price down." SIMPLE. Making a point is saying "That MAY be a LITTLE much to sell that for!" Not FORCING someone to do something.
