Oh lookie another post-game story in Pokemon X. :UI think this one is my favorite. xD Mostly because I liked Looker before (in Platinum and B&W) but now I actually get to be his partner in solving crimes.
Best. Mini story. Ever. I totally didnt almost tear up at the end of these chapters btw *cough*

Thanks! I'm kinda sad that I didn't go with the female trainer. xD While I love those shirts I was sooo sad that I couldnt buy the female trench coat to kinda match Looker's. xD
Epic coat detectives! I did that with my oc trainer on my Y nuzlocke tho. So that's okay. xD

But given how much time the developers had and all the 3D modeling they had to make for this game I give them a free pass on the story not being that great. Looker is always awesome tho.

The Looker Bureau chapters were the very best thing of XY in my opinion. My heart broke when Looker had to leave.

Yeah. Something like Looker Bureau chapters would be sooo awesome in any future games.
If there EVER comes any XY remakes and the Looker Bureau chapters aren't in it, there'll be sooo many angry fans.

Seeing as XY are very recent I don't foresee any remakes in the stars. :u Not for another, at least, 10 years. If they ever decide to update the gameplay that is. XY seems pretty perfect in terms of what they were trying to do. |D

Yeah. But who knows, maybe someday a genius at Nintendo invents a hand console even better than any 3DS and they make remakes of PokΓ©mon games for it.

Anything better is a bit hard to imagine (to me anyway xD) given the 3D we got now. Sure it can be refined, but that's all I can think of without them over-killing it.
Unless they make an MMO or something free-roam (like Skyrim) where you can chose what path you want to walk rather than just follow a plot I'm not gonna be too interested. Maybe, I guess we'll just have to see. xD
But yeah... Free-roam or MMO would be nice. I'd like to be able to pick a faction to join. Maybe something like WoW where you can pick, roam and interact with other people. I fear them trying to be realistic tho. :I If realistic pokemon art here taught me anything is that it shouldn't look too real. |D It's nightmare fuel for the most part.

You have a good point. The new 3DS consoles have some great improvements (as of what I've heard), but as long as there isn't any PokΓ©mon games exclusively for the new consoles, I'll manage with the old 3DS very well.
Yeah, free-froam is a good way to play (I think Spore (a good game when its crashing isn't counting) is a free-roam game), though I like to follow a plot if it's a good one.
Yeah, if PokΓ©mon wasn't so unrealistic, we wouldn't have so many funny pointings here. :=

He only appears in those games and post-game in X and Y unfortunately. (the anime too but I don't really hold much hope for the anime these days) :U He's a pretty cool character, one of my faves.

pftt. xD should totally say that 'Looker' is my nickname for them to call me by. then get that brown trench coat from the shop... and go around solving crimes. ...and then Looker shows up and it's like 'fff-- damn, busted.' since Looker and I met before. :T ...Platinum was my first official Pokemon game. |D

The first Pokemon game I played was Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team, but at the time I couldn't read so I moved onto Pokemon Yellow a year or two later after I found a Youtuber who played it. The game that got me truly hooked on Pokemon was Gold and HeartGold, however, and they will always have a special place in my heart. I want a remake of a remake of a remake again!

Aw c: I played Yellow when I was very young but I never got far. :c my brother broke the...gameboys..? xD and I never got any new ones. :c Infact I only started the pokemon thing last year due to my friends in uni. |D Platinum was the first game I bought and played. I'm more or less caught up now.

I think I got stuck near the 6th gym and never finished Yellow. :s
Oh, and I had a Feraligatr in Gold named Watergun that I couldn't transfer to Ruby which made me really sad... But then about three years later, I think, (( Keep in mind Platinum had already been released by then. I had just wanted to start with the classics, I guess )) HeartGold came out so in the spirit of my Gold's Watergun, I got a Totodile named Watergun (( With a smily face )) and it was my first Pokemon to ever be level 100 without any cheats. (( Although I don't think I ever hacked a Pokemon before. >o> )) It is currently in White 2 patiently waiting to be transferred to X.

Aw, I have a Feraligatr in SoulSilver, her name is Harper. c: She's one of my fave starters. The first being my Infernape, Farley, who was my first official pokemon xD I havent really gotten either to level 100 yet, but in W2 (which is in my fave region after Sinnoh) I caught a female riolu with pokerus on christmas day last year. xD Her name is Darcy and to date she is my one and only level 100. I never used cheat codes, infact I'm very against those, but yeah. she's my baby <33 I was sad that I couldnt send her to Kalos with me. :c ...then again a level 100 lucario would never listen to my badge-less self. xD though I would of liked to send her daughter, Raily to Kalos at level 5. c: but I couldnt. :c sad times.

I loved the story but it was sad because the looker had to leave and he gives the player his code name.

Kinda like Professor Layton with the Looker. oAo ...And since they seem to be done with the Prof.Layton games now it's the perfect time!
Though I guess your character would be the one solving the cases and letting Looker take the credit cause youre epic that way. xD It's like Inspector Gadget all over again.

Yeah, I was sorta surprised there was so little to do in this game. :I Kinda hoped for more mini games like poffin cooking, contests, sports etc like in past games. :I Even in BW2 they had the white tree hollow or the black tower etc. And side legendary mini stories. But yeah, hope they could be downloadable.
