Charlotte and the crew went on winter vacation to London to visit Lillian's family, only to go back to work once they arrive.
Just a tidbit: the childhood song, "Ring Around the Rosy" is actually referencing to the Black Plague. This is just a sketch. Will be much more obvious/creepy once it's painted. :]

Love this idea, and I love that you know that "Ring around the Rosy" is a plague reference. And that stuffing your pockets full of strong-smelling things was a supposed way to ward the plague off. Not that it worked too great BUT the thought process was getting to the point where maybe we could start figuring out airborne diseases and whatnot

Yeah, the song I used was referencing the black plague, but these girlies are going to be from the Victorian Era...so I may make them victims of TB. I couldn't find any children's songs about TB though hahaha. I'll figure something out. |D They'll be pretty fleshy looking in the end, I tihnk. I'll have to play around with it.

Oh man, I have to admit I love that you did a piece for this! The song itself interested me before, but I have to admit I never knew about it until I heard it in Dead Space (they did quite a creepy version for it too, if you'd like to hear: [link] ) and when I did some research I found out about the Black Plague reference. Very morbid, which is right up my alley.
Anyway, I really love your idea here, fits really well with your story. I look forward to seeing it painted so it will look even more appropriately creepy. Very well done!
