Yeah, I'm still trying to figure that out, too. I have been telling everyone at work to pre-order since I saw the new trailers. Most people haven't seen them, but the ones who have are really excited.
I actually got to play it for about 15 minutes. (Managers conference in Vegas.) It has the feel of RE4, so anyone who has played it should be able to jump right in. But, the zombies and other guys, are fast. It's going to be insane.

I also heard that the game play mechanics can be changed to a more "gears of war" like feel, is that true? also...I had a theory of the different melee attacks... if you shoot one of them in the face from far away...then run up to them and melee is different from when you shoot them up close and melee...
