This is very thought provoking. It took me a moment of looking at how pretty it all is to realize that those are scissors and then I was like 'Oh no please the hair is so pretty don't!'. But that's very symbolic for what you're drawing about. The older hair is like memories. Incredibly imaginative, it came out beautifully. <3

I think that it's a very universal feeling, wanting to let go of the past that can hurt you. It is very difficult to do though, because it does cling to you so much. You can't easily forget, but all you can do is keep trying to go forward despite it. You really did capture that very well!! and I love the distant expression on her face, to boot.
