This time it is about Blue (or Leaf) and Green in Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen version ;D

i thought blue was gary and green was the girl? well thats how it is in soul silver in heart gold, there is Red the guy u battle in the very end and then Blue the 8th gym leader in Kanto.....

In the original Japanese version green was gary/8th gym leader in g/s.
When they released Pokemon in the USA it was red & blue (instead of red, green, and blue) so they changed the rival's name from green to blue (cause it made more sense with the cartridge colors) and ever sense have kept that translation change
