These are Madras. I like them myself very much, so please don't make your own.

When I sketched her in school my classmates ask my why she looks so beaten up. The only thing I could say was: 'Cuz she has to. She looks beautiful what's your problem? XD

Actually, I would not approve it. I mean if there is really a different, as example yours could have "naked" rat legs and a fluffy dog tail, I would look over it. Than your species is different and you own.
But if they look like mine I would be very thankful if you don't do so.

Like looks quite the same except for a little more fur on the bottom of their rat-tails, and they have smaller paws and sizes. But I certainly am not gonna stop "making my own," just to make room for someone else's design that is, sadly close to how I created my rat/dog species.

well, mine ratdog are namend Madra, as long as you don't say that yours are madras it's no problem. A mix out of a rat and a dog isn't so super special... it was a high probability that there could be something simular, but i haven't saw one befor...so I tryed.

"nezumi" means rat in Japanese
"inu" means dog. I got the idea of mixing a dog and rat together, since in a Japanese science lab: they mixed a rat with human DNA.

Oh my, Number two is precious. They say when dogs have multicolored eyes, their blind in the brighter one. I don't really believe that, when you go blind your eye(s) become narrow and then glaze over.
