$9 isn't a high price for an adopt.

-sorry to intrude ^^'-
actually its 9euros
which is $10.23
and some people dont have enough left over after bills and groceries to pay for a design or in some cases, its a younger person who doesnt get money from working, so they may not have enough.
$9 to you may not be much, but for someone else, $5 might be. just depends on who the person is and the situation they're in
-again, sorry to intrude, but i thought id say this ^^'-

Even if it's $10.23 it isn't much. =v=
They said it's "that much of a high price" not I'm sorry, I cannot afford it. (Well, that too but that's not how it was phrased if you get what I mean.)
If one writes something like that, they're suggesting that the artist overprices their art.
You see, I sell adopts myself (for much more than this) and I don't mind if people say that they cannot afford it. But commenting the price is too high is something nobody should ever write, because they're discouraging the artist with it. On DeviantArt there are already way too many artists who underprice themselves and so many mislead people who think art should be cheaper than a bottle water at a restaurant.
Art is a luxury good if you're the one hiring the artist or also buying an adopt (because it's a design you can use for your stuff only).
I didn't want to bash tri1 with my comment. I just wanted to clarify what I stated. So many more people here need to realize what I've written above.
I hope you have a nice day! <3

Yeah I get what ya mean lol
Yeah I can agree with with that. I never sell anything...even if it's one of the best designs I've ever done (and I will admit...I've done some pretty nice ones that I'm really thinking of keeping if they don't sell before long)
But they don't even sell for 10points...let alone PayPal if that's what I have the original price as.
And I underpriced myself already and I know I do. I feel like if a lot of the older people on here would move to say FA or something, we wouldn't have to underprice ourselves and we probably could overprice ourselves...people on FA tend to buy (from what I noticed) just about any price you throw at them.
DA just sucks the life outta it lol

Maybe you just need some more practice. Also I've seen that you don't really use groups. You have to put your adopts in many adoptable groups so people see them.
If you feel you're underpricing yourself and you're not content with that situation I recommend to give it a break. Use the time to practice and improve your art. Once your art gets better you'll automatically find more people who are interested in buying your adopts. <:
Yeah, I've heard of that too... I cannot go to FA however since I don't draw furries and anthros. Maybe it's suited for you, though! ^-^

Eh yeah lol I know I'd of but hey my latest ones have been good
I don't because even when I do (for like 2 months straight I did a lot of grouping) I don't get anymore adopters lol!
What really? Lol I betta be practicing art then
Yeah for me it would but I just havnt gotten around yet lol my human anatomy isn't the greatest yet
Time to stalk your gallery for awhile lol

Hmm that's weird... I usually put them in 20+ groups and they do get more exposure...
Good luck with your improvement. <:
It's always hard to change from one anatomy to another. I guess it just requires studying the shapes a lot.
Aww~ thank you! <3
