Japanese sword smithing is a facinating piece of art, it comes in many styles, and their history and details are huge. I enjoyed the early period tachi which are longer, more curvy as well as the later katana which is heavier and curve less.

Had an idea, similar to those Japanese pink violence films or B rated movies with bizarre themes and story. This is about a place where the samurai system exists and women are allowed to wield swords. Trouble occurs frequently and ppl die. Prefects are tasked to monitor the situation and are authorized to cut down any offenders. Prefects wear unique dark outfits, they are upper class men who are skilled in swordsmanship and extensively disciplined.
