Finally there's more text, i try not to be very specific or a lore master so that anyone can enjoy the story, but some terms have to be explained for friends new to the setting.
Ghouls are humans feed on vampire blood, they act like servants for that vampire.
Thin bloods are vampires who are very new to the world, probably less than few decades.
Yes distrust is an important element in VTM, even ur best friends or allies might fuck u up one day, that's why ppl are wary of everything including help.
