-Bio: S C. Ruffey, or Scruffey as he's called is a privately owned open wagon whom also happens to be the king of all the other Troublesome Trucks. While he maybe a more typical troublesome truck, mischievous, rude, and impulsive, his tricks are far worse, as he is far more abrasive and malicious, and has a very mean-spirited and abusive demeanor towards the engines, and even towards his fellow trucks. His bullying antics had gotten even worse after he and his lads pushed poor Oliver down into a turntable well, and kept on hassling him with insults, as well as a very rude song. But thanks to Toad the Brake Van, Oliver managed to give S. C. Ruffey a taste of his own medicine by pulling him into pieces all thanks to him and his lieutenants foolishly pulling back, combined with Oliver's sanders, as well as Scruffey falling to mention his rotten and rusty condition at the time. The Fat Controller repaired Scruffey, but only letting him off with a warning, and as punishment, was put on very low and dirty jobs such as rubbish trains, and ever since then, he has had both a great fear and respect for Oliver, and wisely stays out of trouble. To this day, he can be a little territorial, but with his reputation tarnished, he now his learned to be a lot more polite and more courteous towards the engines, but only belligerent if any of his friends are picked on, but he still has a lot to learn doesn't he?

-Artist's Commentary: So here is the first of the next rolling stock set, which is a very popular guy despite one appearance, S. C. Ruffey, or Scruffey! I just felt I had to add him in, after all, he is the ring leader of the Troublesome Trucks, and every different Thomas merchandise has made him, and I'm lucky to have him to, whether people remake Toad Stands By or not! As for Scruffy in my series, well, I decided to go along with his TV Series adaptation where the Fat Controller had kept him alive after being ripped open by Oliver, unlike how in the book where he was scrapped. I guess because I grew up with this character, mostly because I have the Wooden Railway and Bachmann models of him, and I feel it would've been better to give him a second chance, but he'll be on probation, and has wisely kept his mouth shut, but can be aggressive if the engines abuse his friends, particularly James if you think about it.  But he'll have like cameos and what not, though the same can't be said for the Spiteful Brakevan, who will not be in my series, just mentioned, as after all, he was scrapped for good!

As for my design, I like how I drew his face, and yes, I did reuse the standard Troublesome Truck when I created him. But Scruffey isn't the only one, there are two more trucks I have made, and they were either minor characters, or just for merchandise, you'll see them.

Thomas the Tank Engine is owned by HIT Entertainment/Mattel!
