Hi everybody! Today is a special day today, as it's my very own birthday! Yeah, Happy Birthday to me! I thought to make it special I would do a birthday artwork of my favorite character of all time in popular culture, Thomas the Tank Engine. You guys already know by now ever since my Top 30 List I did a while back stating Thomas is my favorite character in his namesake franchise, and I just wanted it to be special that way.

This of course is a redraw of the drawing of Thomas I did 2 years ago, and honestly, I like it this version a lot better than my old one, and of course, this is how he'll look in my fanfic Thomas series, Engines Together. I used my Bachmann Thomas model for reference, pictures of an actual E2 Class, and pictures of Thomas from the show. The good news is that this I actually got the right shade of blue, which looks so much better on him. I just wish I used it before. Oh well, better late than never I suppose.

The other reason for drawing Thomas is because not only for my birthday, but also his birthday to, as the character was first created September 14th, 1946 in his debut book, Thomas the Tank Engine. So even though the 75th anniversary of the franchise was last year, 2021 is the 75th anniversary of the beloved blue tank engine. I always loved him as a character, especially in S3-S5, which is what my drawing of him is referenced off of, as I had to make this as best as I could possible. I hope you all enjoy, and I will make sure to enjoy my birthday as much as possible! Take care guys!
