James I am trying to catch up on messages, sorry this is late. Paddy is the nearest I have to a son. This pic was taken some years back (he is the boy in EQUUS) and he is now married with two children. The whole family spent Xmas with me although they now live in Spain.

How lovely to have had time with them during the holidays. Spain must be lovely. It's always fun to have kids around. They seem to liven things up. I remember from my brief stint in England, it seemed a lot of people either headed there or France for holiday.

Think about it. You can use London as a base enabling you to travel all over British Isles plus trips to the continent are so easy. Paddy would put you up in Spain (Granada) VERY cheap flights and just a two hour trip. Go on, plan it for the summer.

We are so touched by your kindness. I have missed England, but not sure than a trip like that is in my budget. It most certainly does give me something to think about though.

Nice image. The slightly noisy quality of the photograph adds to the painterly feel created by the lighting and the color balance. I like the composition. If this is an example of new territory for you, I think that your future portraits are going to be phenomenal. Bravo.
