-this will be a thing. there will be a few more (about 3-4). this is part 3.
-there will be a rough narrative.
-unfortunately it will be out of order. when i complete it, i'll combine all the parts and tell a rough story.
-i don't have a PS3 so i've never played the game. i did he next best thing and watched a 7 hour video. yes, its fantastic, and that's why i did the fan art.

Great job. The Last Of Us is one of those rare gems, in which you can enjoy the various cinematic versions without being a game player. HBO should adapt it into a 4 part mini series

i watched a different playthrough (a 6-7 hr video on another YT channel). i did watch the final part of pewdie's video (to get his take on the ending). i imagine i'd find his running commentary distracting if i watched the whole thing!
i don't know if anybody else noticed the magazine. it had "bear skin" written on the cover with a picture of a naked male torso. haha! i didn't put that in the drawing to keep things classy. people can assume its the comic book instead. (which i can't remember the title of. i just remember the tagline "endure and survive".)

hahaha yeah lol Ellie is pretty funny sometimes, I hated the ending though... it was unsatisfying. It would have been better in my opinion if he had decided to leave Ellie to the fireflies and idk killed himself or something.
But... that would be way too sad :'I

i think how it ends depends on the person.
for me, i thought it was not-quite-a-happy-ending.
yes, joel did lie. and i think ellie KNOWS joel lied, but she also knows the reason why. her love for joel makes her look past it and give him forgiveness.
as for the fate of humanity; IMHO, while there's no cure yet, life goes on. people adapt. at that point in the story, i'd be more scared of live humans than clickers.
there will be other chances at curing the cordycept/other immune people.

Yeah being more scared of people than the infected is quite reasonable haha
But yeah idk I think it would be a little better of an ending if they died just because it would leave you with that empty feeling inside when you finish a really good book or something

Books can be really depressing, especially if it's an entire series and it just ends with the main characters dying in a very depressing manner. I've never actually seen a book about zombies though, other than the Walking Dead and such.

oh there are some great books out there, and some aren't as sad as others. world war z for instance is pretty optimistic. (the movie is good, but is nothing like the book. and the book is definitely better.)

Because Ellie knew he was basically a bodyguard till they made it to the Fireflies, she was more bummed when they were leaving the safety of the Fireflies because they had apparently "Found more like her." Joel is a just a selfish bastard trying to compensate the loss of his own daughter with someone else, a lot of people do this with infants when their baby dies at a young age. Called child abduction. l:

Let's put it like this....
Ellie dies saving the human race from being infection and a vaccine gets made! What then? The last infected person dies and the human race starts rebuilding their planet.....it'll only go back to the way it was before the outbreak....people starving, governments will be made and corruption will come back, people working for jobs for the powerful to earn a living, whilst being fucked in the ass for money, Could you risk that all starting again?
Yes Joel was selfish but he did it knowing full well how the world would turn out if Ellie was sacrificed, and whose to say that a vaccine would have been made, and given to the people? Whose to say that Marlene wasn't working for a corporate company who needed it only to take it away from people, so they can use it for themselves and screw the rest over? Whose to say that the Vaccine would have worked? And ending the life of an innocent girl is even more selfish.
It's like Obito said to Kakashi......."Those who brake the rules and regulations are trash, but those who don't value heir friends are even worse then trash" I can see that you think Joel was selfish to abduct Ellie, I know what Child abduction is but this is not it......Ellie's mother Ana died, and Ellie was made an orphan, so in a way Joel didn't abduct her at all.....he did however decide that if he didn't protect Ellie from the cruel nature of the human race would be worse that being selfish.......it would be barbaric and vile.
Joel never truly wanted Ellie to die in the first place, since he knew full well how important she was, and how precious she was to him, because after 20 years of suffering Joel finally started to feel like he had a purpose in Life, and when Ellie came into his Life.....everything that he suppressed throughout those 20 years of constantly fighting......Ellie finally broke through that hard exterior of his and taught him how to feel again. She made him feel like as though he was alive again, and that taught Joel something very important! It taught him that life is precious and throughout his journey with Ellie they established a connection, a bond! One that he long had forsaken after his daughter died. He even said to her "Do you even know what your Life means, huh? Running like that and put in your life at risk, that was pretty darn stupid" It's stuff like this and the fact that he saw how important her life was that he finally decided to do something that would define him. He sacrificed the human race knowing full well that Ellie needed to be protected at all cost, which is why he adopted her as his own.......to protect her not as his surrogate/adoptive daughter but to train her so that she can protect herself from the rest of the world. And time in and Time out Ellie proved herself to him that she is in fact strong.
I know how my words sound and I get what you're saying but be open minded about this.
