I've actually seen that episode and was surprised to learn that the bullets just DISINTERGRATED into the water.
The people who owned the pool they used to test the myth were actually afraid that they would blow a hole through the bottom of it. The roof of the builing, though(it was an indoor pool) got a good soaking.
