Oh no, I really like it. The badass element already exists in the company it keeps. It's why Yoda, living in a swamp all alone while our intrepid hero with a gun and a laser sword was barely keeping it together was awesome well before the CGI terror of the prequels. And now that you mention it, I see what you mean on the intelligence in the eyes. Even more dangerous as it was not obvious...
