I have to wonder if those costumes are well ventilated.

I did end up borrowearing one for an event. Some have mini-fans.

That can be done?!

...I wonder if the mascot costumes for schools have something like that.

That and light-up eyes/teeth/spots/animatronics. Pretty much anything can be done if you have the funds and skills/techniques.

Some maybe... though again, emphasis on funds...and liability (the husky from my Junior high was just a mask with fur)...

Wow. I see a lot of images of people working on costumes, but I never thought anyone would go that far into detail if they could. I would imagine it would take quite some time to get the skill and money to do such things.

Really, just a mask? I don't think of my school district as rich, but even we had a full body suit for the mascots. Yes, we had two suits.

It's a work of art, one can say. Some of which are pretty impressive(ly cute!)

Well, it was a full body suit in a sense, but really just a fuzzy, baggy one at that... eh, maybe I be spoiled with seeing/discovering actual custom suits during that time

The school uniform would be the most elaborate costume I had seen until I joined this site. I see some really impressive stuff, but I don't see myself in one. Heck, I would also love a Power Rangers suit, and I've seen some epic ones, but I still feel weird wearing a costume. Maybe for Halloween, but never to a public convention. Or could be that I'm not too comfortable sticking out in a public place.
