May I ask you how did you manage to paint in oils on paper ? Did you treat the surface earlier with gesso or similiars, didn't you?

LINOCUT ON PAPER OMGWTF HOW DID YOU oh, hand-colored with oils. phew. if you had done that with pure linocut, I was going to demand a look at the linoleum.
